In 2012 Goodman Manufacturing became a member of Daikin Industries. Many may not know that Daikin is a worldwide leader in residential and commercial HVAC. The Wall Street Journal wrote an article back in January 2015 about Japan’s Daikin Building a $410 Million Air-Conditioner Factory Near Houston. We’ll today it’s done and we went for a visit.
The “Daikin Texas Technology Park” is completed and Advanced Cooling and Heating took a trip to visit this state-of-the-art facility.
It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to visit the the new Goodman plant, in Houston. We never expected to see such an enormous investment in production.
This facility represents one of the largest and most technologically advanced HVAC facilities in the world.
Reflecting Daikin’s global commitment to local, in country, manufacturing the facility represents the largest investment made during Daikins 90-year history.
We were excited to see all the new products, from mini splits to split systems, packaged systems and air quality filtration products, we were genuinely impressed the complete product line and the investment Goodman is making in its future.
This is in our opinion. . .
