The Florida Snowbird and it’s migration habitat . . .

Welcome To Florida!

As an AC Repair service you may think we don’t enjoy the winter — but actually it is a very steady stream of business for us — as our clients return to beautiful sunny South Florida.

No one wants to arrive at their South Florida vacation home and find the air conditioner isn’t working properly. Or find the HVAC system had been damaged from a power surge or lighting strike.

Many of our snowbird clients have maintenance contracts and we service their condos, townhomes, villas etc twice a year (shortly before winter and summer begin).

It is important in South Florida that humidity be removed or mold and mildew take over.

Upon returning to your Florida home or condo – notice a few things. Does the home feel or smell damp? First,

  • Ventilate the home properly. Start by changing the air in the house.
  • Look for signs of mold
  • Look for any areas of where water is getting in

We suggest to  our snowbird clients with newer homes or townhouses, while away, to set their air conditioning to about 80˚F enough to keep bills down and prevent mold from building up on carpet or walls.

Many ac maintenance plans to choose from
