We installed two 2-Ton Fujitsu mini split inverters (18 SEER) in this 600 sq.ft. area. We installed two separate systems for redundancy — in case of failure, never completely without A/C. This is a unique project due to the heavy load of computer and video equipment. The customer likes the A/C units are out of the way and quiet.
Mini-split systems do have an outdoor component.
Below you see the outdoor compressor/condenser for a mini split unit. This requires a three-inch hole through a wall for the conduit; which houses the power and communication cables, copper tubing, and a condensation drain line, linking the outdoor and indoor units. Notice the custom line cover matches the existing building color and design.
You may be asking yourself . . . did we paint the horizontal stripe on the outside wall (line cover) to match the building . . . of course we did . . . because we treat each install as if it were our own. It must be perfect!
